Description
The rhizome of Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) is widely distributed in the tropic and semi-tropic regions of the world.
Ginger is a well-known medicinal herb in many traditional medical systems and cultures. Traditional uses of Ginger include, improving digestion, decongestant, alleviating the symptoms of the common cold, nausea, vomiting, muscle pains, rheumatic and circulatory complaints, menstrual pain, to induce labor, mild asthma symptoms, and hepatic complaints.
